Isabel lives in Buenos Aires with her life partner Martin and I live in NYC, in the West Village to be more precise, with Jimena (18) my eldest. She works as a photographer. I live in the North and she lives in the South. Two different vibrations that meet in one horizon: alchemical woman.
Isabel was trained as an artist in the School of Fine Arts of Azul, her hometown, where she got all the tools she needed to express herself with the sophistication she does today. Her most outstanding characteristic is her ability to make each minute of the day a new creative experience. She draws every morning, and formulates the rites that will keep her connected to the invisible forces of life. Isabel is alchemy in action. She reads and writes her thoughts. She cooks and laughs wit her family and friends. Life is just a party for her. She has three children, Natalia, Miranda and Martin and two and a half grand children, Mateo and Inti, two boys and is hoping that the half will develop into a full girl! She also has two adopted sons Gustavo and Alfred.
I, Lila, live in NY and travel every month back to Buenos Aires where two of my three children have their lives. It is incredible that today’s technology gives us the possibility of commuting from one continent to the other. The names of these important team players are Tomas (15) and Isabel (10). The three of them are the very fuel of my life. I’m trained as an architect, have buildings built, publications, awards, and lately as creative director I have developed my skills even more. All of that drove me to be what I am today: an alchemical woman. Now I paint, write, cook, enhance my home everyday, read, enjoy and use my imagination in every task. Now I’m the architect of my life.
